Applications are open to women only and consists of submitting an independent software project. Applicants must include source code and binaries and any tests and documentation associated with the project. It is also important to include a description of the project and explain how it solved a problem.
Eligible students must be female, and a full-time student at a U.S. accredited college or university where they plan to earn a technical degree. The winning project will be announced in mid December.
The scholarship is sponsored by Delphix Technology, a software development company that helps professionals, from CIO's to engineers, analysts, application developers and others manage their data. The scholarship encourages more women to enter technical fields and increase representation of women in the workforce.
The deadline for this scholarship is usually in NOVEMBER of each year, and the award amount is usually $5,000.
