National ACT High School Poster Concept Contest

National ACT High School Poster Concept Contest
National ACT High School Poster Concept Contest is open to juniors and seniors in high school who are over the age of 13. The contest consists of designing a poster that encourages other students to take the ACT test to prepare for college.

Eligible students must be currently in high school and planning to attend college after graduation. They may choose either a two-year or four-year program at a U.S. accredited college or university. Winning posters include first, second and third-place winners. Each receives a cash prize.

Each year, ACT invites high school juniors and seniors to enter the poster concept contest. Each poster design must answer the question "Why take the ACT?" Entries will be judged on creativity, originality and how well it addresses the importance of taking the ACT test.

American College Testing (ACT) is a nonprofit organization headquartered in Iowa. The organization is best known for its ACT assessment test taken by millions of people each year in preparation for attending college. The purpose of the poster contest is to encourage more students to consider higher education and influence their peers on the importance of education to prepare for success in today's workplace.

The deadline for this scholarship is usually in JANUARY of each year, and the award amount is usually $1,000 - $5,000.
