Olive Garden Pasta Tales Essay Contest is open to students in grades 1 to 12 who reside in the U.S. and Canada. The competition awards students in each grade who write the best essay on a topic chosen by Olive Garden.
Each student entering the contest will be asked to write a 50 to 250 word essay. Essays will be judged on how well they address the topic as well as creativity, originality, and use of grammar, punctuation and spelling. Each student who wins at their grade level receives a savings bond and a complimentary dinner for their entire family at Olive Garden.
One grand prize winner will receive a savings bond and a trip to New York City where they will dine at Olive Garden in Times Square. In addition, the grand prize winner will have a donation made to their school.
Olive Garden is a family restaurant specializing in Italian food with more than 800 restaurants around the country. The restaurant is also dedicated to serving communities through food donations, fund-raising events for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, and other charity and school events.
The deadline for this scholarship is usually in MARCH of each year, and the award amount is usually $500 - $2,500.
