The Rise Scholarship Foundation offers scholarships to high school students to have learning disabilities and plan to attend college. Students must be able to document that they have a learning disability, and/or an ASD diagnosis, in order to be eligible.
High school seniors who are planning to attend a U.S. accredited college or university are encouraged to apply. A grade point average of 2.5 or above is required. Five students will be awarded Rise Scholarship Foundation scholarships.
Eligible students may apply online. Application requirements include a completed application, transcript of grades, proof of disability, and a letter of recommendation from a high school teacher, counselor, or principal.
The RiSE Scholarship Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit organization that was established in 2010. Its mission is to help students who have learning disabilities and a determination to succeed. The purpose of the scholarship is to reward these students with the assistance they need to complete their post-secondary education goals.
The deadline for this scholarship is usually in FEBRUARY of each year, and the award amount is usually $2,500.
