Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship Opportunities offer many scholarships for Phi Theta Kappa members and others currently attending two-year colleges. Scholarship applications are accepted in the Fall and Spring.
The scholarships are offered to two-year students who want to transfer to senior colleges, universities and other post-secondary institutions and pursue a baccalaureate degree. Most of the scholarships are for Phi Theta Kappa members but some are also for non-members. Fall applications are due in December, and Spring applications are due in April.
Some scholarships are for specific areas of study, such as the Geico Pathway to Completion Associate Scholarship which is specifically for Business majors, or the Frank Lanza Memorial Scholarship for non-members who are pursuing careers in nursing, respiratory care and emergency medical services. Required grade point averages will vary by scholarship.
Phi Theta Kappa is the international honor society of two-year colleges and academic programs, including community colleges and junior colleges. Scholarships are offered to recognize and encourage the academic achievement of two-year college students and encourage them to continue their education. The scholarships are for students who have excellent academic credentials and leadership qualities.
The deadline for this scholarship VARIES each year, and the award amount is usually $1,000 - $7,500.
