John Deere Dealer Scholarship Program

John Deere Dealer Scholarship Program
The John Deere Dealer Scholarship Program is open to high school seniors, college students or community college students. Applicants must be under 23 years old and members of Future Farmers of America (FFA).

Students must have at least a 3.0 grade point average in order to apply. More than $200,000 in new local scholarships will be awarded through John Deere dealers across the country. Each year, about 250 scholarships are awarded. The purpose of the scholarships is to support FFA members in their efforts to earn post-secondary educations.

The scholarship is for students interested in careers in agriculture. Scholarships provide students with opportunities for leadership development, personal growth and career success.

The scholarship is funded by John Deere dealers and offered through the National FFA Organization. FFA is a national organization whose purpose is to increase awareness of the importance of agriculture and its contribution to our society and well-being. The organization is a strong supporter of education for future agricultural leaders.

The deadline for this scholarship is usually in FEBRUARY of each year, and the award amount is usually $2,000.
