Archer Daniels Midland Company (ADM) Scholarship is open to high school students as well as current undergraduate students pursuing a two- or four-year degree in agriculture. The applicant must be a current member of Future Farmers of America.
Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher in order to apply. Up to 80 scholarships are offered annually. Application period generally begins in November. Students are encouraged to check the sponsor's website each November for application information and requirements.
The scholarship is sponsored by Archer Daniels Midland and offered through the National Future Farmers of America Organization (FFA). Future Farmers of America was founded in 1928 by a group of young farmers who wanted to help prepare future generations of farmers for the challenges of feeding a growing population. The National FFA Organization focuses on research and support, including the creation of educational materials for state and local FFA agencies.
