Cumberland Farms Believe and Achieve Scholarship Program is open to the children of customers and employees of Cumberland Farms. Eligible children must plan to attend either a college or university, or a vocational school.
The scholarship is open to high school seniors and other students up to age 25 who will be attending a college for the first time as undergraduates. A grade point average of 3.0 or above is required. Candidates must also reside within 30 miles of a Cumberland Farms location.
Eligible students must be enrolled in college full-time. The scholarship is a one-time-only award and not renewable. Up to 130 scholarships will be awarded. Students may apply by completing and sending an application along with grade transcripts, and a cover letter that describes their work experience and involvement in school and community activities.
Cumberland Farms, headquartered in Framingham, Massachusetts, was founded in 1938 and is a regional chain of convenience stores operating primarily in New England, portions of the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States, and Florida. They have 600 retail stores in 11 states.
The deadline for this scholarship is usually in DECEMBER of each year, and the award amount is usually $1,000.
