The NASCAR Foundation Scholarship is available to high school seniors attending a high school in Volusia County, Florida. The scholarship is for students who plan to enroll in a full-time undergraduate program at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school in Florida.
Scholarships are awarded based on applicants' academic record, financial need, leadership qualities demonstrated by involvement in school and community activities, and communication of their career goals. At least 10 scholarships are awarded each year.
Each year, the NASCAR Foundation awards scholarships to deserving students in Volusia County. The purpose of the scholarship is to help local students continue their education at a college or vocational school.
The NASCAR Foundation was established in 2006 and since then has contributed more than $20 million in scholarships and other programs that help children learn and grow.
The deadline for this scholarship is usually in FEBRUARY of each year, and the award amount is usually $2,500.
