TnHTEF will award 7 scholarships. They include one Vision Hospitality Scholarship and one M. Gibson Hotel Group Scholarship to the top two candidates, two foundation scholarships, and three runner up scholarships.
Candidates must possess a GPA of 2.7 or higher in order to apply. Students may apply by submitting an online application, along with a 500-word resume, grade transcript, and a description of all school, community and professional activities.
The Tennessee Hospitality & Tourism Education Foundation is a non-profit organization established in 2008 to further the educational goals of the Tennessee Hospitality & Tourism Association. Since it's beginning, TnHTEF has awarded over $40,000 in scholarships to students seeking hospitality-related degrees.
The deadline for this scholarship is usually in JUNE of each year, and the award amount is usually $1,000 - $3,000.
