Technology Addiction Awareness Scholarship
Technology Addiction Awareness Scholarship is available to high school, undergraduate or graduate students. Applicants may apply by submitting a short message about technology addiction and its negative effects.
The scholarship is sponsored by Digital Responsibility, a California-based company started by a group of Silicon Valley tech employees. The mission of the company is to make young people aware of the dangers of technology addiction and teach them how to use technology responsibly. The company is located in Santa Clara, California.
High school freshman, sophomores, juniors, or seniors as well as current undergraduate and graduate students may apply. Home schooled students are also eligible. Candidates may apply by submitting a 140-character message about technology addiction. Ten applications will be selected as finalists. Finalists will compete for one scholarship by writing a full length 500- to 1,000-word essay about technology addiction.
Entries will be judged by content and creativity. One winner will be selected to receive a college scholarship.
The deadline for this scholarship is usually in JANUARY of each year, and the award amount is usually $1,000.
