Applicants must be currently enrolled, or enroll no later than the fall of 2021, in an accredited post-secondary institution of higher education. Students may apply for the scholarship by submitting a 250-words or less essay on the subject: "What’s the biggest challenge facing college students today and how can it be addressed?"
Essays will be judged on writing ability (25 percent), creativity (25 percent), originality (25 percent), and overall excellence (25 percent). At least one person will be selected as a winner.
The scholarship is provided by Unigo, an Oregon-based company that provides online information for students planning to attend college. Their mission is to empower students to make the best decisions about their college experience. Unigo.com is owned by Unigo Group, a subsidiary of Aequitas Capital, a diversified financial services company.
The deadline for this scholarship is usually in DECEMBER of each year, and the award amount is usually $10,000.
