The Steve Tirado Family Foundation Scholarships
The Steve Tirado Family Foundation Scholarships are open to graduating high school students from the San Francisco Bay Area. Applicants must be accepted into or planning to attend a four-year college full time, and must also demonstrate financial need.
Candidates must have a GPA of 3.0 or above and live in the counties of Alameda, Contra Costa, San Francisco, Santa Clara and San Mateo, California. The scholarship covers up to four years of tuition and college-related expenses.
To apply, eligible students must complete an online application and include two letters of recommendation. Chosen finalists will be required to participate in an interview with the evaluation committee. Students with all fields of interest and ethnic backgrounds are eligible to apply. Latino students are encouraged to apply.
The Steve Tirado Family Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides scholarships and networking opportunities for college-bound Latino students graduating from high schools in the Bay Area. Steve Tirado is a Director and President of the Foundation.
The deadline for this scholarship is usually in MARCH of each year, and the award amount is usually $5,000.
