Margarian Scholarship is open to high school juniors or seniors, undergraduate college students, and graduate school students. The scholarship seeks candidates who have a demonstrated commitment to their heritage and their community and the persistence and dedication to succeed in spite of obstacles.
Candidates must have excellent academic performance and financial need. In addition, they must have a dedication and commitment to their education. Applicants do not necessarily have to be pursuing a career as an attorney, but they must be passionate about bettering themselves and have a clear vision for the future.
Each year, 5 scholarship prizes are awarded. The scholarship may be applied toward tuition, including past, present, or future tuition expenses. Scholarship funds are sent directly to scholarship recipients.
The scholarship is offered by The Margarian Law Firm, founded in 2006 in Sherman Oaks, California. Their practice areas include criminal and business law, class action and malpractice suites, estate planning, bankruptcy, and more.
The deadline for this scholarship is usually in JUNE of each year, and the award amount is usually $1,000.
