Chameleon John Scholarship is open to middle school and high school undocumented students who are planning to attend an accredited college or university in the U.S. One student will be chosen to receive a scholarship.
Students may apply by submitting a complete application and an essay. One student will be selected among all essays submitted. The scholarship can be used toward college tuition.
Applicants who enter the scholarship competition must choose one of the schools on the donor's list. Schools are located in the U.S.
The scholarship is offered by DREAMer's Roadmap, a Calfornia-based non-profit organization dedicated to helping undocumented students continue their higher education. The organization was founded by Sarahi Espinoza Salamanca, a former undocumented student, who years ago had to drop out of school to help support her family.
The deadline for this scholarship is usually in DECEMBER of each year, and the award amount is usually $3,000.
