Live Mas Scholarship is open to students ages 16-24 who plan to attend a two-year or four-year college or university, vocational, technical or trade school. It is open to all legal residents of the 50 U.S. states and District of Columbia.
Two separate scholarship options are offered each year, one in the winter and one in the spring. Students may apply by creating a 2-minute video that answers 3 required questions; other questions are optional. One application per person is allowed.
All videos will be judged according to originality, creativity, uniqueness, passion, and how well the story is told in an emotionally inspiring and authentic way. A total of 220 scholarships will be awarded, each at a value of $2,500 - $25,000 each.
Live Mas Scholarship is funded by the Taco Bell Foundation. Taco Bell is a chain of fast-food restaurants based in Irvine, California. Their menu includes a variety of Tex-Mex foods such as tacos, burritos, quesadillas, nachos, and other specialty items. Taco Bell serves more than 2 billion customers each year in 6,407 restaurants. The purpose of the scholarship is to reward the next generation of creators, dreamers, and innovators by helping fund their post-secondary education.
