Citrix ShareFile Scholarship for Future Entrepreneurs is open to students who are currently enrolled in an accredited U.S. university, trade school, or college. The scholarship is open to any major.
This scholarship is designed to help students pay for their education and assist students with an entrepreneurial spirit to pursue opportunities in entrepreneurship. Students may apply by answering an essay -- Can entrepreneurship be taught? How can colleges better promote and teach entrepreneurship? -- in 600-1000 words. Entries will be judged on creativity, use of proper grammar, and spelling.
The top 3 best essays will be chosen to receive first place, second place, and third place scholarships. Winners will be announced in January.
The scholarship is named after Jesse Lipson, founder of ShareFile in 2005. Citrix ShareFile creates integrated technology services for secure delivery of apps and data ⎯ anytime, anywhere. The company is headquartered in Santa Clara, California.
The deadline for this scholarship is usually in DECEMBER of each year, and the award amount is usually $2,000 - $5,000.
