Construction Financial Management Association Scholarship is open to undergraduate sophomores, juniors and seniors. Applicants must be enrolled in an accounting, finance or construction management Bachelor’s degree program at a college or university in the state of Washington.
Graduate students are not eligible. All applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher in order to apply. The scholarship program recognizes and rewards local college students with demonstrated outstanding academic achievements who have a strong desire to pursue a career in the construction/financial management industry after graduation.
The scholarship is offered through the Puget Sound (Seattle) and South Sound (Tacoma) Chapters of the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA), local non-profit organizations providing education and information relating to financial management unique to the construction industry.
The Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA) is the only non-profit organization dedicated to serving the educational needs of today's construction financial professionals.
Up to three scholarships are awarded every year. Applicants are eligible to re-apply after one year.
The deadline for this scholarship is usually in FEBRUARY of each year, and the award amount is usually $5,000.
