Fund For Education Abroad Scholarship is offered to students who demonstrate financial need, minority students, and first-generation college students. Applicants must plan to enter a study abroad program that lasts at least 4 weeks in another country.

Applicants must be currently enrolled as an undergraduate student at a college or university in the U.S. (graduate students are not eligible). The study abroad program must be eligible for credit at the student's educational institution. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents.

Eligible students may apply online by completing an online application and returning it along with a grade transcript, financial aid form, and at least one letter or recommendation from a professor or school advisor.

The scholarship is offered by the Fund for Education Abroad (FEA) whose mission is to provide scholarships and ongoing support to students who are underrepresented in the U.S. study abroad population.

The deadline for this scholarship is usually in JANUARY of each year, and the award amount is usually $10,000.
