Preference will be given to residents of Davidson, Davie, Forsyth, Stokes, Surry, Wilkes and Yadkin counties, and also to graduate nursing degrees, including physician assistant and family nurse practitioner degrees. Applicants must have a GPA of 2.5 or above and be enrolled in a healthcare field such as registered nursing, licensed practical nursing, physician assistant, family nurse practitioner, nuclear medicine, radiography, and respiratory therapy.
The scholarship is for students seeking a two- or four-year degree or enrolled in a program leading to a certificate or diploma from an accredited North Carolina school. Applicants must demonstrate financial need.
