Scarlett Family Foundation Scholarship

Scarlett Family Foundation Scholarship is open to high school seniors and college freshmen, sophomores, and juniors who will graduate or have graduated from high school in one of the participating Middle Tennessee counties. Applicants must demonstrate financial need.

Candidates must be graduates of a high school in the following Tennessee counties: Bedford, Cannon, Cheatham, Clay, Coffee, Cumberland, Davidson, Dekalb, Dickson, Fentress, Franklin, Giles, Hickman, Houston, Humphreys, Jackson, Lawrence, Lewis, Lincoln, Macon, Marshall, Maury, Montgomery, Moore, Overton, Perry, Pickett, Putnam, Robertson, Rutherford, Smith, Stewart, Sumner, Trousdale, Van Buren, Warren, Wayne, White, Williamson and Wilson.

Applicants must major in business or a STEM field at a four-year, not-for-profit college. They must be full-time students with a minimum GPA of 2.5. Students who have graduated with a GED are also eligible to apply. Scholarships are renewable up to four years.

The Scarlett Family Foundation was established in 2005 to provide merit- and need-based scholarships to students in Middle Tennessee who are pursuing business-related degrees. The Foundation's goal is to support education for Middle Tennessee students of all ages. In 2008, the Foundation awarded its first grants to Middle Tennessee-based non-profit organizations to support other educational needs.

The deadline for this scholarship is usually in DECEMBER of each year, and the award amount is usually $60,000.
