BMO Capital Market Lime Connect Equity Through Education Scholarship is open to students with visible or invisible disabilities who are pursuing a degree in business/commerce, engineering, physics, math, statistics, or a related discipline.
The scholarship is open to both undergraduate and graduate students in the U.S. and Canada. Applicants must be full-time students attending a college or university in the U.S. or Canada. They must also be interested in a career in Financial Services with a focus on Capital Markets preferred.
Visible or non-visible disability is defined as someone who has, or considers themselves to have, a long-term or recurring, issue that impacts one or more major activities that others may consider to be a daily function.
Eligible students may apply by completing an online application and including a current resume/CV, copy of current university transcripts, completion of an essay question related to career goals and why you believe you should be selected as a BMO Capital Markets Lime Connect Equity Through Education Scholar. In addition, one letter of reference from a professor, advisor, or supervisor is required.
Lime Connect is a global not for profit organization that focuses on breaking stereotypes on people with disabilities, and helps leading companies of every size, industry and location to understand the importance of, and fully value, the talent and strengths that employees with disabilities bring to the workplace. Lime Connect is an Equity Through Education partner of BMO Capital Markets to provide scholarships for students with disabilities.
The deadline for this scholarship is usually in SEPTEMBER of each year, and the award amount is usually $10,000.
