Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) and McDonald’s are proud to offer opportunities to outstanding undergraduate or graduate students attending one of the 47 publicly-supported Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) within the TMCF member-school network.Selected scholars will receive a scholarship award during the upcoming academic school year, which may be used toward covering the costs of tuition and fees, on-campus room and board or required textbooks purchased from member schools.

The scholarship is open to students 18 years or older, and all applicants must be currently enrolled in the upcoming school year as a full-time student at one of TMCF’s 47 member-schools; undergraduate or graduate. In addition, the applicant's urrent grade point average must be 3.0 or higher.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate involvement in their HBCU community, and demonstrate leadership ability through a variety of measures
The deadline for this scholarship is usually in JUNE of each year, and the award amount is usually $10,000.
