CharterUP National Scholarship for Immigrants and Refugees

CharterUP, a transportation technology provider, is awarding a scholarship to one deserving immigrant or refugee student who was born outside the United States. It is in conjunction with the company's belief that cultural diversity and opportunity is what would make the United States become more progressive.

The CharterUP scholarship is open for immigrants and refugees who are currently enrolled or accepted as a full-time undergraduate student at an accredited college or university in the United States.

Applicants must have a weighted GPA of 3.4 or higher to qualify. It is also required to submit an essay that demonstrates their personal vision and their potential to achieve that vision.

Applications must be submitted through their online form. They must also have one recommender that could be contacted directly.

CharterUP is a technology-driven charter bus company that recently launched in New York City. The deadline for this scholarship is usually in July of each year, and the award amount is usually $10,000.
