American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) ScholarshipsAmerican Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) Scholarships offer several different scholarships for both undergraduate and graduate students majoring in civil or architectural engineering. Students applying must be full-time Junior, Senior and graduate students attending colleges and universities in the United States.

Scholarships include the AISC Education Foundation Scholarship that is open to undergraduate and graduate students who are attending any four-year college in the U.S. Other scholarships are open to students living and attending college in specific states such as Illinois and Indiana, the southern states of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee.

Some scholarships are specifically for the states of Ohio, Michigan, Colorado and Wyoming. In addition, the AISC David B. Ratterman Fast Start Scholarship is available to freshman and sophomore students attending a two-year or four-year college and whose parents are AISC members.

The scholarships are sponsored by the American Institute of Steel Construction, a non-profit organization headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. The organization was established in 1921 to serve the professional industry of steel fabricators, distributors and producers.

The deadline for this scholarship is usually in MAY of each year, and the award amount is usually $2,000 - 5,000.
