Hallmark Mahogany & Blues Babe Foundation Scholarship Program
Scholarships are for undergraduate study only and are one-time-only awards. Two scholarships will be awarded and includes an all-expense paid three-day workshop in Hallmark’s headquarters in Kansas City, Missouri.
The scholarships are offered by greeting card giant Hallmark’s Mahogany brand and the Blues Babe Foundation. The program was created by three-time GRAMMY award-winning singer-songwriter Jill Scott. The Blues Babe Foundation is a non-profit organization committed to assisting students in underserved communities by providing opportunities that foster a spirit of leadership and academic excellence.
To apply, students must complete an online application and include a current grade transcript, a letter of recommendation, a copy of a Student Aid Report from FAFSA, and a 2-4 page writing sample.
The deadline for this scholarship is usually in OCTOBER of each year, and the award amount is usually $10,000.
