Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowships For New Americans
The fellowship is designed to help candidates who have already demonstrated a commitment to achievement and a capacity for accomplishment. Applicants must plan to pursue or already be enrolled in a graduate program. They must be full-time students in order to be eligible.
Fellowships cover up to two years of graduate study in any field in the United States. The fellowship includes maintenance grants and tuition support for each year of graduate school.
The fellowship is offered by Paul and Daisy Soros, Hungarian immigrants and American philanthropists. The fellowship program was established by them in 1997 as a way for the Soros' to give back to the country that gave them the opportunity for education and success for themselves and their children.
The deadline for this scholarship is usually in NOVEMBER of each year, and the award amount is usually $90,000.
