Eligible female students may attend a college or university in the U.S. or Canada. The scholarship covers one year of study and includes a stipend that will cover travel expenses to a conference in the fellowship recipient’s field of study.
To apply, candidates must complete an online application, and also submit curriculum vitae, transcript, two letters of reference, and an essay that explains how the scholarship will further the candidate's research.
Candidates must have a dedication to pursue a career in research, demonstrate financial need, and must remain full-time students during the year. Last year, the fellowship program granted 70 awards to women pursuing a Ph.D.
The deadline for this scholarship VARIES each year, and the award amount is usually $20,000.
