HENAAC Scholars Program

HENAAC Scholars Program is open to outstanding students pursuing a science, technology, engineering or mathematics degree. Applicants must be of Hispanic origin and/or must significantly demonstrate leadership or service within the Hispanic community.

Applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 or above in order to apply. Students may be undergraduate or graduate students, and may attend an accredited 2-yr or 4-yr college or university located in the U.S. or its territories. Scholarships are merit-based.

Eligible students may apply online by completing an application and including a current resume, college transcript of grades, two letters of recommendation, and completing a 700-word essay. All documents may be uploaded online.

The scholarships are offered by Great Minds in STEM. Since 2000, Great Minds in STEM has Awarded Over $3.1 million to more than 1,200 STEM Students. Great Minds is a California-based non-profit organization dedicated to keeping America technologically strong by promoting Science, Technology, Engineering and Math careers especially in underserved communities.

The deadline for this scholarship is usually in APRIL of each year, and the award amount is usually $500 - $10,000.
