The AGC Education and Research Foundation (AGCERF) scholarship is open to college sophomores and juniors, and graduate students, attending full-time an accredited college or university, enrolled in construction management and engineering programs. Students attending two-year colleges may also apply if they are transferring to a four-year college.

Candidates must desire a career in the construction industry. They must be pursuing a B.S. degree in construction or construction-related engineering, or a dual degree with construction or construction-related engineering. A GPA of 2.0 or above is required.

To apply, qualified applicants must send a completed application, two evaluation forms that are to be completed by a college faculty member and an employment supervisor, and a transcript of college grades.

The Associated General Contractors of America is a trade association in the US construction industry, with headquarters in Arlington, Virginia. AGC represents over 6,500 general contractors in the U.S., and over 9,000 specialty-contracting firms. More than 10,500 service providers and suppliers are also associated with AGC through a nationwide network of chapters.

The deadline for this scholarship is usually in NOVEMBER of each year, and the award amount is usually $2,500 - $7,500.
