Top Ten List Scholarship is open to students 13 years of age or older who are planning to attend an accredited post-secondary institution of higher education no later than the fall immediately following their graduation from high school. Current college students may also apply.
Applicants may enter the scholarship competition by submitting an essay that best describes in 250 words or less ten good reasons why they should be given a scholarship. Only one scholarship is awarded. The design of the scholarship was inspired by David Letterman's Top Ten List.
Entries will be judged according to content, writing ability, creativity, originality and overall excellence. Essays must be written in English and incorporate correct spelling and grammar. All entries must be original and unpublished essays.
The scholarship is offered by ScholarshipExperts.com, a non-profit organization formed in 2000 by professionals, parents, and students dedicated to finding ways to better serve the financial needs of college undergraduate and graduate students and high school seniors planning to attend college.
The deadline for this scholarship is usually in DECEMBER of each year, and the award amount is usually $1,500.
