Buckeye Cablesystem BCSN Scholarship Project Fund
Buckeye CableSystem BCSN Scholarship Project Fund offers scholarships to high school seniors who reside in the Buckeye CableSystem's Toledo, Ohio, or Southeast Michigan service area. Qualifying students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or above.

Eligible students mus plan to enroll as full- or part-time students at a two-year or four-year accredited college, university, technical college or trade school.  A total of eight scholarships are awarded every year. Each month from October through May, a Student-of-the-Month is selected to receive a one-time scholarship. One Student-of-the-Year will be chosen to receive the top scholarship which is renewable for four years of college.

Applications are available at The Andersons, Nationwide Auto Finance, Lourdes University, Directions Credit Union and Unison Behavioral Health. To apply, candidates must submit an application along with grade transcripts, two signed letters of reference from high school teachers, guidance counselors, principal or employer, a description of extra curricular activities, and a one-page essay about career goals.

Buckeye CableSystem is a full-service cable company offering TV, broadband and home telephone services. They are based in Toledo, Ohio, and serve customers in northwest Ohio and parts of southeast Michigan.

The deadline for this scholarship is usually in NOVEMBER of each year, and the award amount is usually $1,500 - $16,000.
