Eula Mae Jett Scholarship is open to high school students, current college students, and career-transition applicants who desire to pursue a course of study and career in the legal field which leads to a degree or certificate.

Applicants must be pursuing a career as a Legal Secretary, Receptionist, Legal Assistant, Paralegal, or Court Reporter.
Applicants can include (Plan A) graduating high school seniors who have successfully completed secretarial or business courses in high school and will be enrolled in a college or business school in the fall semester immediately following the school year, current students (Plan B) who have completed at least one year of college, and (Plan C) people re-entering the workforce.
Plans A and C are for residents of the state of California. All applications and required documents must be typewritten; 3 copies of each must be submitted prior to the deadline.

The scholarships are offered through the Santa Clara County Legal Professionals Association (SCCoLPA). SCCoLPA was founded in 1940and is a chapter of Legal Secretaries, Incorporated (LSI). The member-based organization includes legal secretaries, legal assistants, paralegals, attorneys, legal administrative personnel, students and other members involved directly in the law field and legal community.

The deadline for this scholarship is usually in MARCH of each year, and the award amount is usually $2,000.
