Also required is a 250-word bio that includes information about their educational background, why they are seeking a degree in their field, and why the scholarship interested them. The top three essays chosen by the judges will receive scholarships.
The scholarship money may be used for tuition and books. The scholarship has been awarding students for the past three years and this year has included applicants from Canada.
The scholarship is sponsored by SeniorAdvisor.com, launched in 2013 as a review site for senior care and services across the United States and Canada. The purpose of the organization is to improve the way people find senior care for themselves and their loved ones by sharing reviews and ratings on senior care facilities.
