Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above. They must also be of good character and exhibit strong motivation in the face of challenges.
To apply, eligible students must submit a current grade transcript and also complete a 300-500-word typed essay on the topic of personal injury lawyers and the role they play in safety initiatives by helping people who have been injured in car and other accidents. The essay must include the student's idea on how they can promote personal and community safety into everyday life.
This is the fourth annual Staver Law Group National Scholarship. One winner each year will receive a scholarship to be applied toward educational expenses. The scholarship must be applied to tuition and other education-related expenses. Scholarship money will be sent directly to the recipient’s educational institution.
Staver Law Group is a Chicago-based law firm specializing in auto accidents, premises liability, medical malpractice, or wrongful death cases. The scholarship was designed to award one student per year whose essay shows an understanding and appreciation for the type of work they do.
The deadline for this scholarship is usually in DECEMBER of each year, and the award amount is usually $5,000.
