The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Scholarships
The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) Scholarships are awarded to outstanding high school seniors who intend to pursue a baccalaureate degree in communications with emphasis on any aspect of the television industry.

The awards are funded by the NATAS foundation. Five scholarships are available.

The 5 scholarships include:

The Randy Falco Scholarship — Awarded to a Hispanic or Latino student pursuing a career in any aspect of the television industry.
The Jim McKay Memorial Scholarship — Awarded to a student pursuing a career in sports television.
The Douglas W. Mummert Scholarship – Awarded to a student pursuing a career in any aspect of the television industry, who has made a positive impact through community service.
The Mike Wallace Memorial Scholarship — Awarded to a student pursuing a career in television journalism.
The NATAS Trustees’ Scholarship — Awarded to a student pursuing a career in any aspect of the television industry.

The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences is a professional association dedicated to the advancement of television and electronic media. The organization is best known for its Emmy Awards that recognize excellence in a number of categories.

In addition to scholarships, NATAS also sponsors programs, seminars, and scholarships for high school and colleges in cities served by the organization's 19 local chapters. The organization was founded in 1955 and is located in New York City.

The deadline for this scholarship is usually in FEBRUARY of each year, and the award amount is usually $10,000.
