The North American Network Operators Group (NANOG) Scholarship
The North American Network Operators Group (NANOG) Scholarship assists students pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Network Engineering or Telecommunications. Four scholarships are awarded every year.

Applicants must be an undergraduate student attending a recognized University with course of study in Network Engineering, Computer Science, Business Information Technology or Management Information Systems, or Law with a major in Telecommunications Regulation and/or Policy.

Eligible students may apply online. Along with an application, students must include an appraisal which is to be completed by a school counselor or adviser, an instructor, or a work supervisor who knows the student well. The appraisal includes factors such as achievements, resourcefulness, problem-solving skills, and academics.

The North American Network Operators Group (NANOG) is an educational and operational forum for the coordination and dissemination of technical information related to backbone/enterprise networking technologies and operational practises. The nonprofit was founded in 1994 and is funded by conference registration fees, donations from vendors, and membership dues.

The deadline for this scholarship is usually in JUNE of each year, and the award amount is usually $10,000.
